Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data BizNerve collects, why, where it is stored and what you can ask us to do with it.

Last updated: 12 August 2026

1. Who we are

BizNerve (“we”, “us”) provides AI messaging and calling automation to businesses in India. In this policy, “you” means either a visitor to this website or a customer using our platform.

For personal data belonging to your customers that we process on your behalf, you are the Data Fiduciary and we act as a Data Processor under your instructions.

2. What we collect

From website visitors

  • Details you submit through the demo or waitlist form: name, business name, phone number, email address, and anything you write in the message field.
  • The page you submitted from, and campaign parameters (UTM tags) if you arrived from an advertisement or link.
  • A one-way hash of your IP address, retained only to investigate spam and abuse. We do not store the raw IP address alongside form submissions.

We do not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics scripts or cross-site trackers on this website.

From customers using the platform

  • Account details: business name, contact details, login credentials (passwords stored only as bcrypt hashes).
  • Business configuration: your catalogue, price lists, FAQs, escalation contacts and agent settings.
  • Conversation data: messages exchanged between your customers and the agent, together with delivery status and timestamps.
  • Operational records: leads captured, invoices synced for reminders, contact activity and system events.

3. Why we process it

PurposeBasis
Responding to a demo or waitlist requestYour consent, given when you submit the form
Providing the platform to a paying customerPerformance of our contract with you
Sending service notifications, digests and reportsPerformance of our contract with you
Preventing abuse, spam and fraudLegitimate use of the service
Meeting tax, accounting and telecom obligationsLegal obligation

4. Where your data is stored

All customer and conversation data is stored on servers located in Mumbai, India. It is not replicated outside India.

Each customer occupies a separate logical tenant. Every record is scoped to an account identifier and every query is filtered by it, so one customer’s data is not accessible from another customer’s account.

5. Who else processes it

To deliver the service we rely on a small number of providers:

  • WhatsApp Business Solution Provider — delivers and receives your WhatsApp messages. Message content necessarily passes through them and through Meta.
  • AI model provider — generates the agent’s replies. Only the conversation context needed to produce a reply is sent. We use providers under agreements that prohibit training on our data.
  • Email delivery provider — sends reminders, digests and reports.
  • Telephony and voice providers — used only once AI calling is enabled on your account.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.

6. How long we keep it

  • Demo and waitlist enquiries — up to 24 months, then deleted.
  • Conversations and messages — for as long as your account is active.
  • Activity and event records — 365 days.
  • Diagnostic logs — 30 days for routine entries, 90 days for errors.
  • After your account closes — we export your data to you and then delete it, other than records we must retain for tax and accounting purposes.

7. Security

  • All traffic to our services is encrypted in transit over TLS.
  • Passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes, never in readable form.
  • Databases are not exposed to the public internet.
  • Administrative access is restricted by IP address and protected by multiple authentication layers.
  • Administrative actions on customer accounts are recorded in an audit log.
  • Databases are backed up daily with a 30-day retention.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board as required under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

8. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data of yours we hold and who it has been shared with;
  • correct anything inaccurate, or complete anything incomplete;
  • erase data we no longer need for the purpose it was collected;
  • withdraw consent you previously gave, at any time;
  • nominate someone to exercise these rights if you are unable to.

Write to hello@biznerve.in and we will respond within 30 days.

If your data reached us because you are a customer of a business using BizNerve, that business controls it. We will pass your request to them and assist them in fulfilling it.

9. WhatsApp messages

Messaging on WhatsApp is also governed by Meta’s own terms and policies. A business can only send you messages outside a 24-hour window from your last message using templates Meta has pre-approved. You can stop receiving messages from any business at any time by replying to that effect or by blocking the number.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting customers will also be notified by email.
